2 Sisters’ recipe for future success

20 September 2023

2 Sisters Food Group is proud to help feed the nation and build a better world by feeding people great tasting, sustainably produced, healthy chicken and ready meal products.

This business is also keen to nurture and develop talent which it sees as critical for its future success, Monday 4th September marked the start of our 2023 graduate intake.

Lisa Massey, Apprenticeship and Early Careers Manager, said: “We want to attract vibrant, talented graduates whose ambitions match our own, and then inspire them to consider a career in the food industry.

“Our graduate schemes provide development, growth, support and progression in an environment that will help them flourish.

“We see our Graduates as our leaders of the future and invest into these programmes so these bright individuals can help us to solve problems, challenge the norms, share their insights and bring fresh perspectives.”

Our 2023 intake of Engineering and Finance graduates starting their career journey with us are: Jillian Matsa, Vikramjeet Singh, Biniam Tesfamichael, Dawid Starzak, Chantelle Tailor and Rehaan Mahmood.

In the Finance Scheme, graduates will rotate through a series of placements across 2 Sisters, and these may be based at one site or multiple locations across the UK.

In the Engineering Scheme, graduates will rotate through a series of placements in our Poultry division but will be based solely at one of our production sites.

They will all follow in big footsteps: previous grads Stephen Lutman, Nadia Moneim, Katie Hardy, Tanisha-Ann Meitiner, have now completed the three-year Finance Graduate Scheme and have all secured permanent roles within the business.

As part of 2 Sisters’ ‘Welcome Day,’ all of the graduates participated in an Insights Session facilitated by Paul Aggett, L&D Manager in Meal Solutions.

Our Early Careers team will be attending career fairs at Warwick University, Loughborough University, Wolverhampton University and University of Birmingham during October/November. At these events, interested students who are looking for a Graduate Scheme and would like to apply for our 2024 intake, can take the opportunity to speak to our current Graduates, or our Apprenticeship & Early Careers Manager, to find out more about our schemes and what we can offer them.
