GREAT EXPECTATIONS

Quick footed Mark Wilson, Coupar Angus HS&E Manager, and his wife Nicola are taking on the Great North Run in September.

The dynamic duo are training hard to take on the half marathon to raise funds and awareness for UK national charity WellChild who provide care and support to children and young people needing long-term or complex care, assisting children to leave hospital and be cared for at home.

They already have the Newcastle 10k under their belts and are training hard with a 12 week, 347km pre-race plan in place.

Mark said: “Nicola was selected from the GNR ballot and I was delighted to be selected to represent WellChild with both of us determined to make a meaningful contribution towards this charity by completing the Great North Run.

“Any donations towards our goal of £280 would be hugely appreciated. We would love to smash the goal raising even more money for this valuable cause. Please support us to make this possible.”
