Lancashire baker, Holland’s Pies, has restarted its free home delivery ‘pie-solation’ service following unprecedented customer demand as stricter government restrictions came into force.
Available in selected areas across Lancashire, pie fans are able to place a minimum order of a dozen pies and puds from the baker’s core range: Meat Pie, Steak & Kidney Pie, Potato & Meat Pie, Cheese & Onion Pie and Steak & Kidney Pudding, at just £1 per pie or pud.
Customers simply have to call 01706 212122, place their order and pay over the phone providing their contact details, name and address. Their pies will then be delivered the following day by one of Holland’s famous fleet of vans, direct to doorstep, adhering to current government guidelines.
The vans will cover the following Lancashire towns and surrounding suburbs for delivery*:
- Clayton le moors
- Great Harwood
Holland’s has donated and delivered tens of thousands of pies to local charities and organisations hardest hit by the pandemic.
Brand Manager of Holland’s Pies, Leanne Holcroft, said:
“Over the past six months we have been inundated with requests from pie fans wishing to receive their favourite pastry treat direct to their door, and as lockdown restrictions look to tighten yet again we have decided to reinstate the service.
“It is a fantastic way of getting your pastry fix and all of our pies and puds are made fresh and are suitable for freezing - perfect for stocking up on.”
*Customers who are unsure if their area is covered can speak to the Holland’s Pies telesales team before placing their order. Products are subject to availability.
