Carluccio’s comes to the chiller cabinet with new meals, pizza, & pasta and sauce range

Carluccio’s owner Boparan Restaurant Group and 2 Sisters Food Group have teamed up to develop an exciting new range of premium fresh Carluccio’s products available exclusively in Sainsburys from this week.
Developed in partnership by Carluccio’s Restaurant Head Chef, Eric Chauvet, and the 2 Sisters’ Meals Solutions innovation team, the recipes for the 16-product range remain true to Antonio Carluccio’s ethos established when he launched the popular restaurant chain over 20 years ago “minimum of fuss, maximum of flavour”. The ranges launches in 306 stores and online.
Including a rich and indulgent lasagne, hand stretched woodfired pizza and sauces cooked to traditional methods to build layers of flavour, prepared in 2 Sisters’ kitchens, the range offers distinctive, delicious Italian food perfect for a cosy meal for one and for sharing.
The full range includes:
Three meals for one and three meals for sharing including Chicken Parmigiana, Beef Pappardelle and Roasted Mushroom Tagliatelle.
Four 12-inch pizzas and a garlic bread including Quattro Formaggi and Salami Picante with Mozzarella Pearls.
Two fresh pasta sauces, one gluten free and one vegan.
Three varieties of fresh pasta made by one of 2 Sisters' partners in Italy.
Using authentic Italian recipes this new range brings fresh, premium cuisine to both the established chilled meals category and the emerging – and rapidly-growing - branded foods category that allows consumers to take well-loved and trusted brands home for any meal occasion.
